Central belt suburban home close to city, countryside and coastal towns

LOCATION and AMENITIES
We stay in a suburb of Glasgow, popular with families due to the number of amenities near by. These include restaurants, some bars, shops (including Costa, Tesco, Lidl and Coop within walking distance) and lots of parks.

Great transport links into Glasgow and beyond. Close to two train stations and lines, both taking 20 minutes into Glasgow. The city centre is well known for its great shopping (Buchanan Street and Merchant City). A short journey away is the West End, known for its more bohemian feel with great restaurants, bars and vintage shopping.

40 minutes to Ayrshire, home of Robert Burns. Lovely countryside in this area leading onto beachfront locations. Known for good seafood and fantastic golf courses. A favourite local inhabited island, Arran, is accessible from Ardrossan. Dumfries House is local and is where Prince Charles and Camilla take residence when in Scotland - fantastic day out for all the family, with woodland walks, adventure park, water engineering centre, house tour and cafe.

1 hour from Edinburgh, the capital city, Parliament sits there, the Queen’s Scottish residence at Holyrood and home of the Edinburgh International Festival and Fringe.

The house comprises:-

-3 double bedrooms (although one is smaller);
-2 full bathrooms;
-living room with working coal fire, Virgin TV, XBox, board games;
-playroom with plenty of toys;
-kitchen / living / dining / study area with extendable table to seat 12;
-utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and pulley;
-astroturfed (easy maintenance!), levelled, south facing garden with lots of children’s toys including a chute, Playhouse, cars and two sunloungers; and
-driveway.

Fantastic neighbours. Our families live near by for any queries. Three airports within an hour.
