Beautiful and relaxing narrow boat home in the Oxfordshire countryside of Aynho. Near to Banbury and 45 mins drive to Oxford.

Sleeps two in a small double, one small person or child in a slim single and can accommodate one other adult on the sofa bed if needed.

The boat runs from solar power so live off grid and watch the wildlife on your doorstep, you’ll hear the nearby trains go by, see the locals who are a tight knit welcoming community and you’ll probably have the resident swan pay a visit.

Put your feet up by the log burner in the evening and relax your worries away listening to the birds. We have a resident Kite that visits often, flying above and if your lucky, you might see the bats at night.

About the location

Aynho is a rural area with lots of local walks, perfect for exploring, your 1.5 miles away from the local shop to stock up on necessities. If you drive to Kings Sutton (4 miles) you can leave your car there and explore by train, visiting nearby Banbury or Oxford.
