There are uninterrupted views to Knocklayde Mountain & from the south facing balcony, down the Quay Road to the sea, beach, Fairhead & Mull of Kintyre Scotland beyond. Just a 3 minute level stroll take you to the seafront & 1 minute walk to the restaurants, shops & bars of Ballycastle. A complete refurbishment in the Summer of 2019 ensures that the property has been fitted out to the highest standards whilst retaining period feature such as high ceilings, original wooden window shutters & full height sliding sash windows. Versatile sleeping arrangements provides 3 all ensuite bedrooms with kingsize beds that can be split to 2 separate twin beds. Abundant free on site parking, a ground floor secure space for storage of golf clubs, bicycles, buggies etc together with a south facing balcony provides outside seating with beautiful views. The apartment has close proximity to both the sea front & town, which makes Sea Breeze an ideal choice for your stay in Ballycastle. I`ll ensure a good start to your stay by providing start-up complementary groceries and toiletries and their is free wifi, flat screen TVs, fully equipped kitchen with a separate utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

During the refurbishment of South Hill House, no expense has been spared on Sea Breeze in providing as many facilities as possible to help you and your family enjoy your stay with me. This includes beach towels for the warmer months, together with a beach mat, wind break and sun tent. Luxurious towels, bedlinen, furniture and furnishings have been provided to give you the ultimate holiday experience. There is a furnished balcony off the kitchen where beautiful uninterrupted views to the mountain, forest and down towards the beach and sea can be enjoyed. There are puzzles and games for all ages and the free on-site parking for a number of cars means you need not worry about using town car parks or finding a place on the road to park.

About the location

This is the dramatic and historic Giant`s Causeway Coast on the North Atlantic Coast of Northern Ireland. Voted the best place to live in Northern Ireland and Lonley Planet must see destination in the World. The scenery is breathtaking and it`s all on your doorstep. In July 2019 Portrush hosts the British Open Golf and Sea Breeze is available during this period.

Belfast International Airport, Belfast City (George Best) Airport, Derry/Londonderry Airport are all just over an hour away by car. It is also possible to fly into Dublin or any of the Irish Republic airports an either travel by car or public transport to the property.

The Giant`s Causeway is 15 minutes away, Carrick A Rede Rope Bridge 10 minutes, we`re in the heart go Game of Thrones country with The Dark Hedges 10 minutes, Ballintoy Harbour 10 minutes and Murlough Bay 10 minutes drive away. You can catch the ferry over to Rathlin Island from Ballycastle, or take a drive along the coast in either direction to take in the stunning natural scenery and explore the many visitor attractions in the area. There are abundant outdoor activities both on land and sea including many top quality golf courses and numerous beautiful walks which can all start from Ballycastle. We particularly enjoy the coastal footpath which can be enjoyed completely off road from Carrick - A - Rede Rope Bridge right the way through to the outskirts of Portrush. We don`t recommend walking on the roads as there are no footpaths. You will hardly see a sole on the many white sandy beaches and will encounter no end of wildlife in the forests around Ballycastle where you can wonder endless tracks for miles unhindered. The National Trust has many properties in the area and it may be an idea to join to take advantage of free admission during your stay.

Within Ballycastle itself, you have no need for a car because everything is within minutes of the property. There are 2 children`s play parks, one on the seafront and one straight across the road from Sea Breeze. We have excellent restaurants, the best fish and chip shops in the area, a fishmonger, several bakeries, plentiful cafes, bars, restaurants and pubs all within a 2 minute walk of the property. It is possible to use public transport throughout your stay including travel from the airports or train stations, but a car is advisable to get the best from your trip.

We live year round in Ballycastle close to Sea Breeze and will be available to give advice and help you to get the most from your stay.
