Wine Country retreat - Sonoma, California

We have a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhome in the charming, historic town of Sonoma, just a few blocks from the historic Plaza. On the ground floor is one large queen bedroom and bath. It opens to a delightful patio-garden. Upstairs is the living --dining area and recently renovated kitchen. There is also another queen bedroom and bath on this level. Just off the dining area is a large deck perfect for evening meals. Our climate is Mediterranean, so we often can eat outside through October. (Last year we ate outside on November 3)!
We have an attached garage, and a laundry room with washer and dryer.

About the location

The town of Sonoma is a bit of a secret for many people new to the area. There is a lot of early California history here. We have a small Mission and several other historic buildings to visit. Jack London State Park is about a 20 minute drive. Napa is also 20 minutes away. We are about an hour`s drive north of San Francisco, and 45 minutes from the Pacific Ocean. Sonoma, itself, has a beautiful plaza surrounded by excellent restaurants, interesting shops and wine tasting rooms. Large wineries with tasting rooms overlooking the vineyards are all nearby. Good walks and biking are everywhere
