West Seattle home on the water

Our home is in West Seattle. We`re just across the street from Elliott Bay, with views of the water and mountains from most rooms. We back up onto a greenbelt so from the back of the house you`re just looking at lots of green. West Seattle is quiet and calmer than downtown Seattle, but a short distance from all the action. It`s also a tourist destination in its own right, and we are a short walk from the most popular part: Alki beach. This is a large public beach with a strip of stores and restaurants and places to rent bikes, kayaks, SUPs and other toys to enjoy on the water or along the long public path that runs next to the water.

Our two bedroom townhome has one master bedroom set up with a comfy queen bed and the second is used as an office. It`s new construction with a very nice kitchen for all your cooking desires, and a comfy open livingroom. We have a roof deck from which you can take in gorgeous sunsets every night. We have a covered parking spot which you can use when we`re away with our car. Otherwise there is plenty of street parking for free.

To get downtown: There is a water taxi that runs directly downtown (10 min ride) and is a mile very pleasant walk from our home (bike and free shuttle options also available). Driving downtown takes about 15 minutes. There`s a bus from directly in front of our home that will also get you downtown. And lastly, there`s a dedicated bike path for a nice flat ride for those who prefer pedal powered transit.

About the location

We live in West Seattle, a short distance from downtown Seattle. We are a short walk from Alki beach, a very popular summer destination where you`ll find beach volleyball, swimming, fire pits, kayaks and SUPs for rent, biking along the boardwalk, and plenty of restaurants and bars. We`re also a very pleasant mile walk from the water taxi which takes you to all the fun in downtown Seattle in a 10 minute boat ride.
