Málaga Centro is as the name implies right in the centre of the city. This is a pedestrian area with access to parking garages in plazas and side streets. It abounds with restaurants, cafés, museums, theatre and historical sites such as the Alcazaba. The beach and the waterside warf with its branch of the Pompidou Centre can be easily reached on foot. The streets are very accessible for wheel chairs but the flat entrance hall has six steps.
