Colinton is a suburb of Edinburgh 4 miles from Princess Street - the central Street of Edinburgh.

Colinton`s history dates back to before the 11th century. The parish church was founded around 1095 by the son of a famous Scottish Queen, Queen Margaret.
Robert Louis Stevenson spent his childhood summers at the manse when his grandfather was the village`s Parish Minister.
The area is served well with regularly buses ( 5 an hour) plus a night bus running from midnight to morning)
There is a lovely Scottish local pub, restaurants and brunch places alongside a small supermarket.
