Welcome to our large family home - Peak district

Our spacious family home is a detached dormer bungalow surrounded by large gardens. The house has a large open plan kitchen/living/dining space, a snug with TV, a large family room with table tennis table, two downstairs bedrooms (one double, one bunk beds) and two bedrooms upstairs (one superking bed, one single.) The gardens are on three sides there are eating spaces in two of them along with trampoline and play area and fire pit which you are welcome to use. It is a spacious and fun home with everything you should need to have a great holiday in the Peak District!

About the location

An ideal spot to explore everything the Peak District has to offer, with climbing, walking, and cycling routes on the doorstep. Bamford is a small village. It has a local shop, garden centre, bike hire, playground, train station and a great community pub The Anglers which is home to a pub, post office and cafe. There are great walks straight from the door with Bamford Edge and Stanage Edge in view. Just down the road is the larger village of Hathersage with more shops and the fantastic open air swimming pool which is a must! In the other direction are the villages of Hope and Castleton with its amazing caves. Both Sheffield and Manchester are within an hour away, accessible by train or car. The train station is a 5 minute stroll away and can also take you to all the local villages along the Hope Valley line.
