About the location
Qualicum Beach is a delightful small mainly retirement town with some lovely beaches, and several golf courses. It is a 2 hour drive south to Victoria, and 2 hours drive west to the Pacific Ocean at Long Beach. Nanaimo is 40 minutes south of us with ferries every 90 minutes to Vancouver.
Mt. Washington is a wonderful hiking area 40 mins away, and there are lakes and forest trails nearby.
