Old vicarage in beautiful village with heated indoor pool - Cotswold

We live in a large Cotswold stone vicarage approximately 250 years old. The living space is open plan kitchen/ diner with range cooker and open fire. The large living room and playroom look over the garden. Bi-fold doors open from the living room into a large garden (approx 3/4 acre) with hot tub. The heated indoor pool is next to the living room and entered from the hall. There is a tree house, large trampoline, swings, slide and other children`s toys.

There is a loo/cloakroom/laundry downstairs. There is a large hall with baby grand piano.

Upstairs are four bedrooms. The master bedroom is next to the family bathroom which has a large bath with rain shower over it. It has lovely views over the garden. The large children`s bedroom has 2 single beds (and a day bed that can be made a double bed), en-suite shower and toilet. The second and third child`s room each has a single bed and single futon with a Jack and Jill en suite.

There is a shared drive to the annex and shared access to a rented attic flat.

About the location

The house is located in a beautiful Cotswold village with village pub serving good food, church and cricket/ social club. There is also an award winning pub in the next village and lots of lovely restaurants within approx 20 mins drive. There is a lovely cafe and woodfire pizza restaurant with fantastic views and walks 10 mins away. There is a farm shop in the village, vegetable delivery to the house every Thursday, coop in the next village and supermarket approx 10mins drive. Award winning Stroud farmers market is every Saturday morning.

There is a spa approx 15 mins away. There are numerous walks from the house and close by including Woodchester Mansion, Owlpen Manor, the canal paths and Frampton lake and bike rides. Within approx 10 mins drive there is horse riding, golf and fishing. We are in a quiet, hamlet location yet only 5 mins to the M5 for easy access to Bristol and Cheltenham. We are also only 45 mins from Bath and Cirencester, and an hour from stow- on- the - wold and other fabulous Cotswold destinations. London is 1.5 hours on the train from Stonehouse.

For the children there is a park across the road, really good park in the next village, indoor and outdoor swimming and play centre approx 15 mins drive. There are large leisure centres approx 30 mins drive. Burford wildlife park and West Midlands Safari park are approx 1 hour away. There is lots to do in the local area.
