New apartment in prestige development close to beaches

Our apartment is in a new complex called "Eden", and as the name implies it offers a splendid range of resort like amenities: Large pool, spar, sauna, steam room, gym, theatre, 2 cabana bar-b-q areas, a larger and a smaller lounge/dining area and `Sunset Deck` overlooking the nearby park with its lake. The apartment is equipped with hi-spec appliances and being on the second floor the balcony has a pleasing view across to the park. We have a superb cafe on the ground floor and the main foyer lift opens right outside our apartment. The second bedroom is Tess`s office / `withdrawing` / reading room. The third bedroom is Bevan`s office along with not a little as yet unsorted "stuff" from downsizing.

About the location

Perth has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, winters. It is the sunniest capital city in Australia with clear blue skies an incredible 70% of the year! Floreat is a leafy western suburb between the city and the coastal beaches. The nearby park is a natural bush reserve with paths and the two Perry Lakes and is all that separates us from the coast. Once at the coast you have a seemingly endless choice of beautiful sand and surf beaches, north and south. Perth itself is only 20 minutes` drive away. Fremantle is only about 25 minutes south. Connecting the two is the beautiful Swan River with ferries for upstream, downstream cruises and trips across to Rottnest Island.
