Bethnal Green is an extremely trendy part of London, with a wonderfully multicultural mixture of people. My flat is perfectly located next to Victoria Park - the first green space to be cultivated in London - and Regent's Canal. A 10-minute walk up the canal leads you to Broadway Market, a very fashionable Saturday market on a small street lined with excellent bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. However my flat is also well connected with good transport links into the city - by tube from Bethnal Green or Mile End, overland train station (Cambridge Heath or Bethnal Green stations) and numerous local bus services, as well as bicycles for hire around the corner.
