Trent Lodge

The house is set in one third of an acre of land.

The property was previously a pub (in 1926). It is positioned in a very attractive location, with views across the river Trent, which is only 400 metres rom the bottom of the garden.

There is ample parking space in this spacious accommodation with many pleasant walks in the immediate area. There are lakes within the village boundary.

Children can have an enjoyable time, playing football and other sports in the extensive orchard.

About the location

The rural village economy is based upon agriculture and farming. There is, however, an excellent Indian Restaurant and a village pub.

Nottinghamshire offers many local site-seeing opportunities, with the historic towns of Southwell, Lincoln and Matlock within easy reach.

The market town of Newark upon Trent is a 'comfortable' drive or bus journey of only four miles and the cities of Nottingham and Lincoln are only 40 minutes drive.

These two cities are accessible by bus and train. One attractive bonus is that trains to London are frequent and fast. There is a train every hour and the average time for the journey is 1.5 hours.
