The Anchorage

Our home is a large 3 storey Victorian house in Bideford, in North Devon. There is lots of space including a large kitchen/dining/living area and a huge lounge/sitting room.

We have a front garden with trees and dens, a back garden dedicated largely to football and patio, and a garage plus 3 parking spaces at the end.

About the location

We are surrounded by Devon holiday destinations - Appledore and Westward Ho! are very near, Bude, Ilfracombe, and Woolacombe further away but perfect for day tripping.

There are lots of options for activities - The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, High Ropes, Air Extreme, bowling, laser quest, cinema, swimming pools, etc - all within 20 minutes' drive

Our house is a 3 minute walk to town which is on a quay and full of tea rooms, gift shops, charity shops and opticians!

Barnstaple is our nearest 'large' town, containing all the usual outlets and shops, just slightly in miniature. Plus lots of local independent shops too.
