Double Oak mountain

Our home is 4200 square feet and has every modern amenity that you could wish for , including a "sonos" sound system that streams music to every room around the house , a full size pool room and a "den" . The kitchen has been re-modeled with granite work surfaces and new appliances . Situated on 0.5 acre, there is ample room for entertaining outside on the patio and our beautiful gazebo is awesome on those hot days .
The master bedroom and the second bedroom are situated on the ground floor and all bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with full bathing/ shower facilities ; 2 bathroom have jet tubs . The master bedroom has been re-modeled with new frameless shower , vanities and quartz counter top .
We have a formal and informal dining area and lounge which is perfect for relaxing and entertaining
The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and we are only a few minutes walk away from the largest lake which covers 38 acres ; we walk the lake daily which takes about 40 mins round trip.
Our home is available for holiday rent if no exchange is possible

About the location

Highland Lakes is a gated community of over 1000 "high end" homes , situated on Double Oak Mountain . We are 12 miles from Birmingham city . Birmingham is famous for its civil rights history and the museum is a "must see". The BJCC is home to entertainment and concerts from around the world . There are two outstanding college football ( Alabama and Auburn) teams which attract supporters from all over the USA . If you love craft beer then this is the place to enjoy !
We are situated off HWY 280 which has every shop/ restaurant / bar imaginable.....as well as extensive and renown medical facilities .
Oak mountain state park is fantastic and here you can pursue amazing outdoor activities : have a look at the website to see this natural wonder .
The Robert Trent Jones golf trail is all around us and there are golf courses all around that will challenge golfers at all levels .
For racing fans , Talledega is 30 minutes away together with the world renown Barber Motor Museum .
