Craftsman's Bungalow plus separate studio guest house - LA
Our 1920s house is known as the Little Yellow House in our neighborhood and is situated on a quiet leafy cul-de-sac in beautiful historic Culver City.
The house has two small but pretty bedrooms. One with a kingsize bed and one with a queen. The open-plan living and dining space (plus a small office with printer) leads to a stunning garden with citrus trees, a herb garden, a fire pit, a shaded pagoda and of course a Hot Tub. In the yard is a separate studio GUEST HOUSE with all facilities and its own front and back garden. Next to that is a garage with gym equipment and washing and drying facilities.
There is a large trampoline and adult and child bikes are available along with helmets and lights. The area has many bike paths.
The neighbors are super friendly and will probably invite you round and we provide a big folder of information and things to do and see in the area and beyond.
The GUEST HOUSE can be accessed via the back gate and is accessible for anyone who is less mobile. The main house has three steps front and back.
About the location
Culver City is a small city within the very heart of LA. It has a quaint quiet neighborliness with a bustling arts scene and amazing Downtown Culver City which is full of restaurants and bars and is between 5 and 10 mins walking distance from the house.
Culver City is known as The Heart of Screenland and the historic Culver Studios is at the end of our street and Sony Studios is a gentle 10 mins stroll away. This are is full of cafes and restaurants and is beautiful at night.
The area is very walkable (smell the jasmine and say hi to the neighbors) and the Ballona Creek Bike Path takes you all the way to Marina del Rey and Santa Monica. Behind the house are the Baldwin Hills - great for hiking and a nature reserve.
The house is within walking distance of the Expo train line that goes East to Museums and historic Downtown LA (20 mins) and west to Santa Monica (15 mins).
The Culver City Arts District, skate park, parks, swimming pool, cinema, stores and restaurants are all close by.
