This our family home that we have lived in for the past 13 years with our 2 sons. The house is well proportioned with a good sized living room to the front, and a music room / study to the back. A kitchen / dining room at the back of the house looks out onto the mature south facing garden. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. 1 large bedroom with king size bed at the front, a good sized bedroom with a double bed, and a smaller third bedroom with a single platform bed. the kitchen / diner is equipped with dish washer, washing machine and separate dryer. It opens out onto the south facing garden which has table and chairs, barbeque, and tampoline. The bathroom has a separate bath and good shower. There is a 2nd toilet on the ground floor under the stairs. Central heating and hot water is run off a gas boiler and tank. We have good wifi which can be used by exchange visitors.
We love our house, and keep it clean and we refresh the paintwork before exchanges.
We are lucky to have friendly, considerate neihbours.

About the location

Lavender Grove is a lovely, quiet residential street in the heart of Hackney. London Fields park with its open air heated lido is at the end of the road. The hugely popular Broadway Market with a multitude of great bars and restaurants and the Saturday Farmer`s market is a few minutes walk. Dalston, a great area for alternative clubs and bars is not far away. Brick Lane, Spitalfields, the Olympic park, Columbia Road flower market are also a short bike-hire bike ride away.
Haggerston Station is 10 minutes walk away and connects you into central London via the tube network. Many bus routes can also be picked up nearby.
