Peaceful detached cottage in typical French village - Thoissey

Lovely detached house in a quiet village, Large garden and carport area (very large, can take up to 4 cars), huge conservatory and shaded terrace area, where you can eat outside morning, lunch and dinner. House is exposed south-east, and the terrace is shaded from the heat of the summer!

We have a lovely swimming pool and sun deck area on the south side of the house, with deck chairs and parasols.

Four bedrooms (one with a 160x200 bed and three bedrooms with queen size beds), study, large lounge with wood burner, kitchen and conservatory. Two bathrooms, one with walk-in shower.

About the location

Quiet residential area, at the border of the village (5 min on foot)and 10 minutes from all larger shopping centres and sights of cultural interest, such as Lyon, Macon, Dijon etc. At five minutes driving distance to the famous Beaujolais region, 35 mins from Lyon, and only 10 mins from the main motorway (A6) Marseille-Paris.

The village has a lovely public swimming pool 10 mins walk from home, along the river Saone.

Hundreds of biking walking trails will take you to the hills, lakes and river as you step outside our gate. You are welcome to use our bikes (5 available), and can walk to the village every morning for a fresh baguette! No need to take the car if you don`t feel like driving, all facilities are available at walking distance.
