Ideally located at the very heart of Paris, near Gare de Lyon, Bastille, Jardin des plantes. Walking distance from le Marais and Beaubourg.
Our flat is on the 4th floor of a beautiful complex built 10 years ago, located on a private street overlooking the "promenade plant�e". (see 1st photo taken from the promenade plant�e, ours is the balcony with all the plants).
The "promenade plantee" (http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Promenade_plant%C3%A9e) is a 4.5 km. long garden built on a former railway from Bastille to the park of Vincennes (see 2nd picture, the wee one is ours and the photo was taken right across our place). NYC's highline was "copied" on ours! On the other side of the promenade are beautiful Haussmanian buildings typical of Parisian architecture.
It's located next to a famous market (marche d'Aligre), excellent rated restaurants such as Septime (http://www.lefooding.com/fr/restaurants/restaurant-septime-paris)and La Gazetta...Almost at the foot of the building is an excellent bakery called Bazin for the best parisian baguette and incredible brioche.(see: http://parisbymouth.com/our-guide-to-paris/paris-bakeries/boulangerie-bazin/)
Above all, it is within minutes of all major underground/buses/train lines (incl. the direct train to Disneyland and to Versailles). The two automatic underground lines stop at Gare de Lyon and will take you to the most interesting places in minutes, line 1 (Champs Elys�es and Concorde) and line 14 (Grands magasins and Notre-Dame).
The flat, which is 100 square meters, was entirely refurbished and renovated last year. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 with single beds (two of them bunk beds), a foldable single sofa in one of the kidsroom and a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a queen size bed. We can provide an extra mattress in one of the bed rooms.
There's also a lovely balcony overlooking the promenade where you can eat outside some of our Parisian grown organic tomatoes and rasberries comes summer!
