Lovely 4 Bed home in Roberton, Scotland

Braehead is a beautiful 200 year old country cottage which has been recently refurbished with much love and care. The house is located in an idyllic village, which although rural still offers easy access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow and there are many lovely market towns and villages close by.

Our home has 4 bedrooms - two doubles, one twin and a further single with a daybed. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and shower and the other with a walk in shower area. We have a spacious sitting room, with a feature wall fireplace and wood burner stove. There is a separate dining room with an open coal fire. We have a large, well equipped kitchen with a walk in pantry and utlity room attached. We also have a substantial and well furbished gym.

The garden is almost one acre, with a pond and the village stream running along the bottom. It is very tranquil and quiet. We have a spacious summer house with a wood burner, and a small hot tub in the garden. Our garden has a beautiful aspect, and provides a real haven.

We are situated in the midst of the Lanark hills, which provides fantastic walking/climbing opportunities. Five minutes from our front door and you are in the Roberton moors. The area is great for fishing. Cycling is also very popular and we will leave 2 adult bikes.

Our village is quiet so it is not for those seeking nightlife and shops. However, access to larger towns and cities is very easy and for those who wish to experience Scotland at its very best, our home can truly offer this.
