Casa Luna

Casa Luna is a traditional two-storey house in the lovely mountain village of Capileira. Recently refurbished, the house retains its rustic charm with features such as exposed chestnut ceiling beams, and has an Alpujarran raised terrace outside the first-floor living room, overhung with a grapevine and offering spectacular views of the valley, mountains and lower village. Paths run in all directions from the doorstep, whether for walking or cycling - or to the village bars, shops and restaurants. Capileira is located in the heart of Las Alpujarras, a picturesque region of white villages, tumbling streams and green fertile valleys on the sunny, southern side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range - Spain`s highest mountains.

About the location

Capileira has been officially ranked as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. The Alpujarras region is beautiful and mountainous with clean air and fantastic views. There are also lots of villages to explore and many cultural events taking place especially from April till October. The south coast is a drive of about an hour with various towns and beaches within easy reach. Malaga airport is about two hours` drive and Granada airport about 1.5 hours.
