We are in a quiet road on the outskirts of town, on a regular bus route with good walking nearby.
Downstairs is a shower/toilet and big kitchen diner, seating 6 -8. 2 very comfortable living rooms, one with books & stereo, the other the TV, seat 6 people each. Outside is a 90ft garden. The bathroom has a power shower. 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom, used as a study but with bed that converts to king size. St Albans is an ancient market town with an abbey, built on Roman Verulamium. It has medieval and Georgian streets in the town centre and a traditional high street. Good shopping - a big street market twice weekly. The railway station is 18 minutes from St Pancras main line station for central London.

I work in government, and Steve is a psychotherapist /director of a local counselling agency. Need the main school holidays for exchanges due to client timetable of counselling agency, though long weekends possible. We are looking for an Easter holiday - open to offers- and also to take the family on holiday in the summer - 2 adult daughters + son-in-law/a baby, so looking for a larger property then. We want a coastal holiday in the south west or south in the summer, but otherwise flexible. We like walking, classical music, film and reading.
