Description
My home is one of the grand old ladies of the Strand. Full of character, with a lovely verandah, where one can sit and admire the mountains. There is a huge swimming pool for hot days, although the 4km stretch of sandy beach is 5 mins walk from the front door. Safe swimming, cycling on the promenade and kite surfing are popular activities.
Half and hour by car takes you right into the centre of Cape Town, where endless enjoyment waits. Well known wine estates are close by and historical homesteads offers wine and olive tasting.
Summer is from November to April, winter can be fierce during August and September.
I have an old Labrador and a well mannered cat.
