Our clean, comfortable little house is light and bright, with lots of pictures, quilts and books. The house is very private, bordering on woodland with kms of walking trails and vines, in one of the most beautiful unspoilt regions of France.

On the middle floor we have a living room, kitchen, airy sunroom, and roofed terrace, with decking. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms, WC and bathroom. Downstairs are 2 more bedrooms and bathroom with shower.

Within easy walking distance is a very attractive village with a wide range of small shops, post office, banks, restaurants, as well as an exceptionally good weekly farmers' market (twice weekly in the summer).

Although this is a very rural region, there is plenty to do, especially if you like walking, canoeing, swimming, cycling and other outdoor activities.
We are idealy situated for exploring the region, by car, bus or train.

We are Sheila and Daniel, an English /French couple in our 60's. Sheila still does some part time teaching, Daniel is a full time artisan-he's a cabinet maker, spending his time between restoring beautiful old furniture and making new. Now that our 4 children are grown and flown the nest we feel free to explore further afield. We have done many happy and successful house exchanges in Europe, the USA, Scandinavia and Australia. We have a very low maintenance, mainly outdoor cat and if you wanted to go on trips, a friend could feed her. The same English speaking friends could be on hand if you needed any help during your stay. We would be very happy to care for your pets and/or plants and we would consider ourselves responsible for your house and belongings, as we are sure you would be for ours. As well as reading, swimming and walking, we are both very interested in arts and crafts, which is reflected in our cozy home. We answer all enquiries and look forward to hearing from you!
