Famous wine region with 50 wineries within half hour drive. 2 hours to ski fields, 1 hour to Lake Taupo and many beautiful walks in the area. International golf course nearby. www.capekidnappers.co.nz For water enthusiasts there are harbour cruises, fishing trips, surfing and wind surfing. The conservation dept has a network of walks through the countryside and native bush forest nearby. There is a theatre, a multiplex cinema and 2 boutique cinemas showing arthouse films. Weekend farmers markets offer a wide range of fresh local produce.

We are a couple who wish to experience all cultures in depth. I am a dentist and my wife has been a sucessful caterer and we wish to house exchange up to a few months at a time. We have travelled extensively in the past 5 years in Europe, Great Britain and the USA and Mexico and wish to continue to do so! My sister lives nearby. She maintains our tropical gardens and pots when we are not here and will welcome you at the airport and help with any inquiries.
