Spacious two bedroom apartment close to the seaside resort of Cabanas on the Algarve coast, near the beautiful town of Tavira, steeped in Moorish history and brimful of character. Without doubt the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the Algarve with its narrow, cobbled streets and medieval charm. I never tire of just ambling around the town and markets or sitting in the 'little gardens' in the town center and enjoying an ice cream from a local vendor.

The apartment is within close proximimity of 3 golf courses. Spain is a short drive away, it takes one and half hours to get to Seville.

The main beach is accessed by local ferries which cross the Ria Formosa (a natural estuary), the ferries run every few minutes in high season and cost about 50 cents. If you are a bird watcher the Ria Formosa provides a wonderful opportunity for observing many varieties of wading birds and the salt pans near Tavira are a great place to observe species such as Godwits, Black Winged Stilts, Flamingos, Avocets and many other smaller birds.

This ground floor apartment has one double and one triple bedroom (bunk bed and single), it has one bathroom, good sized well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooker/hob.
