Wonderful detached Victorian house in central London, 6, 000 sq. ft. 5 large bedrooms, 2 reception, dining room (with medieval frescos), large modern kitchen, 3 and 1/2 bathrooms newly redone . Hi-Fi, 2 TVs, video, DVD and cable. A wealth of period detail including original floors, cornices, and working fireplaces. Beautiful 80 ft garden with mature trees, stone terrace and barbeque with a rural feel.
We are in West Hampstead, which is very central and is 10 minutes by underground to the West End. There are good transport links of all sorts. The street is very quiet. There is good shopping locally and the house is near Hampstead Heath and Hampstead village and Regents Park for walking. It is easy to reach a highway from our house and Oxford and Cambridge are about 1 and1/2 hours away. There are of course hundreds of things to do in London, and we can provide help in arrangements and booking.
A car is available in the right circumstances (an old but perfectly good Mercedes). We have 4 outdoor cats but they can be boarded if this is a problem. We are willing to look after 1 or more pets. Cleaning can be arranged depending on dates and there is plenty of support available during your stay, should you want it. Because of the stairs, the house is not suitable for small children under 2.

Our names are John and Susan L. We run a specialist management consultancy. We have 2 daughters aged 12 and 15 called Natalie and Elizabeth. John is a part-time sculptor and the house has a small art studio. I work part-time as a psychotherapist. We have an assortment of musical instruments, CDS, computer and a thousand books!
We have exchanged homes many times now, always very satisfactorily, and have made some good friends along the way. We already have arrangement for this summer but are open to offers for 10 days 2 weeks at Christmas, to New York
